I became aware of this module a few days ago but I am not part of any further development (what is done on drupal.org)

Not sure what you are referring to when you say support that idea ?

If I understand what you mean I don't think anyone needs my permission to fork what I did but I am not against it either, someone found it useful and wanted to further develop it so I guess it is OK with me I have no objection.

This was started as part of a takehome test for a position I was applying for but I had no plans to further develop it and it needed some corrections which I never completed. I did put some work into making this and I wish I could get some credit for it but I am OK without it.

So drupal.org seems like a better project home if people find it useful.

What do you think ?

I wasn't sure if perhaps you were in touch with ilchovuchkov and had agreed that the best place for the module would be drupal.org. It sounds like he did not contact you prior to copying the module over there and then making changes there.

Is there a way to get commit credits on initial development ? If not all good.
Otherwise I am fine with project being further developed on drupal.org
