The scroll behavior of the latest default Gitbook theme is buggy:
When PDF printing the Gitbook page we have a single page with a scroll bar on that page. The content that doesn't fit to the single page is not shown at all.
When viewing Gitbook on Chrome on Android the address bar doesn't auto hide when we scroll down (on normal sites it auto hides). This is big UX flaw.
I have a suspicion that Gitbook implements it's own scrolling so these bugs arise. The first one is annoying but is OK as we can download PDF version.
But the second one is a big deal breaker as it ruins mobile experience.
Is there a way to fix it?
