Unable to use option "Does item stay in crafting grid when crafted?"

If using the option "Does item stay in crafting grid when crafted?", the build for a new item always fails.

How to reproduce this issue?

Try and build an item with only option "Does item stay in crafting grid when crafted?" enabled, it should fail.
