Can't modify keybindings in game.

Issue description

When I create a keybinding with this generator, it doesn't show up in the controls menu in game. I know it's not just a Fabric thing because when I install Origins it's keys show up and are available for change.

How to reproduce this issue?

Step 1: Create a keybinding.
Step 2: Check in game controls menu.
