I'd already deployed using https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/k8s-stackdriver/blob/master/custom-metrics-stackdriver-adapter/deploy/production/adapter_new_resource_model.yaml and it seemed to be working. But I recently updated my k8s cluster to 1.22.1-gke.1602, and now I'm getting repeated errors in the logs:

E1015 13:42:24.270881 1 webhook.go:196] Failed to make webhook authorizer request: the server could not find the requested resource
E1015 13:42:24.270977 1 errors.go:77] the server could not find the requested resource

@PaulRudin It works for me the new image of custom-metric-stackdriver-adapter, try to use gcr.io/gke-release/custom-metrics-stackdriver-adapter:v0.12.2-gke.0 instead of v0.12.0

Also experienced it with GKE 1.22.6-gke.300. Running the new image works.

Same issue with GKE v1.22.9-gke.2000 for me. The new image worked there too.
