play on grasscutter still redirects to the official server

First time trying private server, installed the proxy with no problem but when i tried to connect to a private server with grasscutter, it somehow still connect to the official one, no error message was shown on the app

it is because im running on a modified windows 10 (like the light version)? if thats so do i need to enable certain network services for it to work? or it is because i got some vpn network service installed? thanks in advance

yes it does, the console one, and somehow it still connect to the official server

Can you screenshot the proxy window please, as well as your Windows proxy settings? It's possible it just isn't setting you proxy correctly

i also could surf internet while being connected, dont know if this related or not

oh wait its actuallly working now, if it connect to the official one, i just gotta wait for like 1 mins and its finally connect you to the private one, so probably the proxy was delayed or smth in my case, well since i sorted it out ig this is solved, thanks for your time!
