Context

• What: Gain a better understanding of our Green Software Practitioners - Their aspirations, what motivates them & the challenges they are facing in regards driving adoption of green software practices.
• Why: We have 47,000 people who have invested time and energy to complete the course yet we know almost nothing about them. We want to understand them better so we can support them better.
• How: Survey everyone who has completed the LFC131 course. Use the survey to gain actionable insights for evolving the GSP course and also the broader Learn strategy

Acceptance Criteria

• Send in September 2023
• Send through LF Hubspot
• Use Airtable for the survey
• We want the survey to help us understand:
  • How might we build the confidence of the audience to apply the knowledge they gained
  • How might we increase their confidence in talking about green software development
  • How might we continue to support their green software learning journey
• We want to ask 5-10 questions that will help us understand:
  • More about them
  • Their motivation for becoming a GSP
  • Their aspirations in regards green software
  • The biggest challenge they are currently facing
• Build the level of commitment - Simple first question to get them rolling

Actions

• Investigate what incentives we can provide people to complete the survey. Badges? Vouchers? Training? Books?
