I just wanted to drop this here: electron now supports acrylic and mica out of the box, see here: electron/electron#38361

Thanks for the information ! I still maintain mica-electron because it still allows you to have the effects even if there is no frame, it also works on all versions of electron and also allows you to modify the borders of a window.
