Manjaro KDE 5.20.5
Guake Terminal: 3.7.0
VTE: 0.62.2
VTE runtime: 0.62.2
Gtk: 3.24.24

After last system update (and guake, to version 3.7.0-2) all bold fonts behave now like normal ones. No matter which I choose. I was using Hack Nerd Font, didn't change any options and after update it changed. "Allow bold font" is ticked.

This seems to be an open issue with VTE.

From the discussion this was a decision. Check the issue.

Looking at recent developments on the linked bug report, this seems mostly fixed upstream so I'll close this, but I'm willing to entertain future reopenings of this bug if VTE breaks this again in a new version.
