Originally documented this error in ggtree, but realized that many of the internal functions are actually borrowed from ggimage.

I recently proposed a solution to this for a similar function with rphylopic.
palaeoverse/rphylopic#33

Could something akin to this be implemented forggimage to ensure valid image UIDs are used during plotting?
