Avatar creation fail when called from a block on another page than profile page

When using the profile block to display profile info on another page, like on home page, if the user as no avatar yet, the creation popup form fails.

• check if the issue appears only with short profile block or also on full size blocks
• quick fix: change "Create an avatar" link to redirect to profile page instead of showing a popup form
• ideally: make it work even when called from a popup form
