When an error occurs it is preferred that a working copy exists in the background of the broken application. This can be accomplished by maintaining the last working copy and falling back when an error occurs.

  • display an updated message on the UI that a fallback has occurred.
  • maintain the latest working version
  • fall back to the latest version when an error occurs
