Sometimes, if I haven't completed a habit or a to-do in a while, they disappear.
I know, because I had "Clean Room" under To-Do yesterday, and today, it's missing.
Is this normal?

Absolutely not normal, but unfortunately quite common. There are whoppers like this one that have cropped up recently, my guess is derby HEAD. Definitely on my radar, stay tuned.

@FaeriMagic Did you log out of the app before closing the Tab/Browser? I ask as I had a similar incident which my investigation indicates was caused by my not logging out of the app, causing it not to save the new tasks.

As the day has gone by I can now confirm the above bug affecting myself even with logging out of the app to "save" progress. Wish I'd kept a second record of those tasks.

Additionally even completed tasks and experience gained there from is disappearing.

logging out won't help, all changes are supposed to be committed to the server's database automatically. At present, you might want to try simply refreshing periodically (if you keep the app running in a tab for a long-ish period of time) until I get some kinks worked out.

Maybe a "quick save" or "sync" button like Old times "Google Docs", or "All changes are saved" notification once a while.

Still happening. Just lost 3 or 4 habits and unknown number of Todos when I refreshed the page.

I'm pretty sure I know what's going on, see #84. I'll reopen this ticket if that's not the case, but follow there.

Just wanted to let you know. All of my missing Habits and To-Dos came back. And I do mean all of them.
Which means now I have duplicates. But that's alright, because I can delete them later...

Yep, check out this comment. Everybody is basically gonna get a lionshare of their missing habits back. Blessing for all new comers, we've solved one of the major reasons for data-loss - curse for the long time users.. there will be some deleting to be done. You're a trooper btw @FaeriMagic, you seem to get hit be most of the crits - thanks for hanging in there.

Hey, no problem! ^^
I just thought it was strange that all of my missing to-dos suddenly reappeared, but I'm glad that the data-loss glitch has been fixed. :) Thanks!

I've just been hit by this, although the weird thing is that they're still visible on my phone (Android).

One daily that appears on my phone, but not on the web interface, was one I got from a public challenge. Another was one I created via the web, but is now only visible on my phone.

@detly This is most likely not the bug that you are experiencing. Click "clear" next to the tag filters.

@deilann Wow, that was it. Weird though, because the set of missing things didn't share a common tag.

Yes, when you select a tag it only shows things that have that tag. Most
likely, you had the tag for the public challenge selected, hence that task
showing.
