When editing two linked files, in this case the original file being /boot/home/Desktop/test1 and /boot/home/test1 a link to the original file, the "File was modified by another application, reload it?" popup only shows when you edit the linked file and not the original file.

Was it symbolic link or hard link?

symlink I suppose, BFS doesn't support hardlinks anyway.

I tested Pe with symbolic link but couldn't recreate the bug. Then I tried hard link and was surprised that it was not supported! The man page didn't mention this, so I thought maybe my VM installation had a problem. I googled it and learned that it was a feature of BeOS. Anyway, should this Pe issue be closed?
