Selecting file has Link often spawning out of bounds until void out or soft reset. [Switch]

During the title screen fade in, it will often reset to black and fade in once more after pressing A, and then spawn Link at coordinates outside the map. This gets fixed after a soft reset or an eventual void out.

I'm using the "remember save location" time saver option. This is also, as far as I can tell, a new problem as of 8.0.0 which is still present in 8.0.2. I'm playing on Switch.
