Execute query for multiple database #1242

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Usually, I have to execute a query in different databases, so I click on every database then press F9

Describe the solution you'd like
A command that executes the query in all databases exist in the left window (it should be perfect if take only the filtered databases)

Describe alternatives you've considered
A python script

Interesting idea!

Such an option could live in the "run" drop-down:

That would even leave all other options for that new mode enabled (run, run selection, run current query).

I suppose there must be some additional warning dialog, as I see a high risk of doing that accidentally.

I would like to upvote this and see it in a future release since it could be helpful in my daily work. I think the main problem will be to find a way to display the results in a meaningful way.

  • If there are only a few databases with many results in each it would make multiple result tabs, one for each database.
  • If there are many databases it would be nice to have all the data aggregated into the same result view.
