only extremely short messages work

Any message much longer than "hello" seems to get messed up in translation if I say "i am saying a long message" I get "
i am sa��f⸮�⸮b⸮���⸮R2⸮⸮r�P�" on the receiver side...doesn't seem consistent in the messed up text content if I say the same long message twice. Help is much appreciated!
