if the 'edit' button in the first event of the series is clicked everything seems to work fine. however, if any event in the series other than the first is edited and the beginning date is changed there are buggy results.
for instance, for monthly I...
created an event occurring every second wednesday of the month from 9/14/11 to 6/13/11
clicked the edit button in the march 2012 entry
changed the starting date for the event to 7/13/11 and saved
buggy results included...
several monthly occurrences for the event were created for before 7/13/11
the event was no longer searchable on the front end of the calendar
the event was not visible in neither the upcoming view nor the year view but still visible in month view
for a daily recurring event I...
created an event from 8/8/11 to 8/10/11
edited all in series by clicking 'edit' button for 8/9/11
changed starting day to 8/5/11
only buggy result is after change was submitted the event started on the 4th and went through the 10th.
in both instances the events created before the new start date seem to be the number of events before the date selected to edit. as if existing events are pushed into the past rather than replaced.
