It seems OpenWhisk was updated and it no longer works with BluePic.

Turns out the issue I was having was not just me, Paul Castro was able to reproduce apache/openwhisk#1705
I will attempt a workaround by using REST API instead of Whisk.invoke

Since all the other functionality of BluePic is still working, we will wait on an OpenWhisk fix.

the open whisk issue was resolved and is working well now.
