Describe the bug
When the running IBM Notifier process is sent to background (ex. ~/IBM Notifier -type alert -title "This is a title" -main_button_label "Go" -main_button_cta_type link -main_button_cta_payload "https://www.ibm.com" > foo.out 2> foo.err < /dev/null &) the core component shows an anomalous CPU Usage (around 100%).

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: macOS 11.6
  • Project version 2.3.2
