IBM Enterprise COBOL V6R4 is announced for availability on May 27, 2022.
This version brings new functionalities, in particular at the language level, with the support of user-defined functions, in accordance with the ISO COBOL 2002 standard.
We look forward to discovering and experimenting with this new version of the IBM COBOL compiler.
To date, Z Open Editor does not fully support the management of user-defined functions: the textmate grammar accepts the syntax, but the language server rejects it.
Will Z Open Editor be there on May 27, 2022 to support the new COBOL syntaxes of IBM ENterprise COBOL V6R4?
