When a user selects a source, it would be great if QT suggests the default metrics for a source.
The prompt would be like: "You have selected SonarQube as a source for the first time. Do you want to add the default metrics for this source?".
It goes without saying that a metric can be tagged with various sources. For instance, a metric named "violations" can be used for numerous sources.

In addition to this, it would be very helpful if QT can suggest certain metrics that are common for a source on an existing board. E.g.: when clicking 'add metric' it will now always show Accessibility Violations.

It would be very useful if the addition of metric would go more useful. The user should be guided more in the process of adding metrics. This could be in the form of a small wizard or mini questionnaire.
I see you have this source ......
You already have X violations, but you do not have up-to-dateness
I see you have this subject ....
