Self-Evaluation Tools content set for Tangerine. This content provides 2x self-evaluation tools, one is for reading and the other for math. Use this interactive content straight out of the box when creating new groups.
These tools were developed at the request of Imagine Worldwide with the support of the Jacobs Foundation. RTI carried out field testing and a pilot study to assess the tools' internal consistency, test-retest reliability, and concurrent validity with respect to "traditional" EGRA and EGMA. The report summarizing these findings is available here.
From within the tangerine container execute the group-create command
- Download the content set from this repository
- Download the entire content of this repository into a new folder called
se-tools - Copy this folder into the
content-setsfolder located under the tangerine installation (tangerine/content-sets)
Now open the tangerine container from the command line by executing:
docker exec -it tangerine bash
from within the container execute:
create-group "SE Tools" se-tools
Wait for the command to complete.
Now open the backend and find the new group that was created for you with the new content in it:
You will have the below forms available and some audio files and images under the image library!

Start the app in Kiosk mode by going to the top right menu and select Kiosk
Start the numbers or letters assessment and hand over the tablet to the child.
