Is there an issue for this? Both in terms of github issue, and technical problem that this solves? |

There is no GitHub issue for this. In reference to the technical problem that it solves, it seems that as a website using external resources loaded in a user's browser (iiif.io), using the HTTPS protocol version of that resource is a responsible future proof choice. If this is problematic, feel free to close. |

👍 Will be required for #417 (which hopefully will happen sooner rather than later). I don't see a reason to delay going ahead with this but will wait for another opinion |
