Contributing to num.cr

Num.cr requires help in many different ways to continue to grow as a shard. Contributions such as high level documentation and code quality checks are needed just as much as API enhancements. If you are considering larger scale contributions that extend beyond minor enhancements and bug fixes, contact Crystal Data in order to be added to the organization to gain access to review and merge permissions.

Getting Started

If you are looking to contribute to the num.cr codebase, the best place to start is the GitHub "issues" tab. This is also a great place for filing bug reports and making suggestions for ways in which we can improve the code and documentation.

Filing Issues

If you notice a bug in the code or documentation, or have suggestions for how we can improve either, feel free to create an issue on the GitHub "issues" tab using GitHub's "issue" form. The form contains some questions that will help us best address your issue.
