The last active developer wrote on 27th of November 2020:

we generally recommend just using the free version of our commercial offering as it has all of the same features and more at no cost. That said, the develop branch of this repo is up to date and you are welcome to use it and fork it. I'll ask engineering to take a look at this pull request and evaluate.

There was no new release since 23 May 2019.

The cookie set by it is not making use of the samesite or secure attribute.
