Performance comparison with NPAPI/Chrome USB Driver #5

It would be great to have some data about how oculus-bridge compares to other solutions.
Are there any benchmarks/latency measurements that help one choose between

  • oculus-bridge (websocket, Win/Mac)
  • vr.js (NPAPI-plugin, binary, will be deprecated in Chrome, Win/Mac)
  • vr.js experimental (Chrome USB Driver written in JavaScript, Mac/Linux)

That's a good question. I haven't personally done any comparison testing. My assumption is that the NPAPI plugin and USB driver would both provide lower latency since they aren't separated from the hardware by the web socket link.
