Numerics accepted in Alpha field

In customer payment information page in both desktop and mobile, in all platforms, browsers,resolutions the alpha field accepts numerics and does not throw error message. Since phone number field is available I think it is not necessary, and also provide ERROR MESSAGE
" NUMBERS not accepted in the FIRST NAME and LAST NAME field."
