Generating sample content

Any interest in a module to generate some sample/lorum ipsum objects? Today I did up https://github.com/mjordan/islandora_groovy, which shows how we can use ImageMagick to generate images and then load them using Islandora Batch. Generating PDFs is (literally) as simple as changing the extension of the output file from .jpg to .pdf. I don't have any ideas on how to generate audio/video/disk images/other file types, etc. but we could probably generate paged content for newspapers and books pretty easily using the newspaper and book loaders.

All the code is in the drush file but we could add a GUI.

I fine with it being an environment variable, and being able to be called on the command line with a vagrant up. But, I don't think it should be apart of a default build.

I agree it should be optional. Why don't I keep playing around with generating the content in a standalone module (like groovy but a little less playful) and we can pick up the discussion later.

Made obsolete in some ways by the ability to use scripts/custom.sh. I've added one to Islandora Groovy as an example.

Cool. Can we just close this, and add the 'won't fix' label?

Sure. I'm going to move forward with a standalone sample content generator module that can be used in the vagrant via a custom.sh. This ticket can be closed with "won't fix."
