First Day in Linux - 06/02/2021
***Some basics Commands***
pwd Display the current directory of the terminal
/ Root Directory
cd {location} Root Directory
ls List down the files and folder in the directory
clear (ctrl+l) All commands are cleared
cd.. Move back to the other directory
cd only cd let to go home directory
echo to print
su to switch user
exit come out from the current users
su {roshini} to switch to the users
sudo {any comments} Execute as a root users
ls {path} Display the files in that path
ls -l Display all the files in long formate as size,user,memory
ls -a Display hidden files
ls author Display some long format with author name
ls -l a All hidden files in the long format
ls -s Display all the files in directory where higher memory display first of sort order
To create a file
ls -laS {path} > {file name with extension}
eg ls -laS /home/documents/roshini > newfile.txt
