Ongoing development, documentation, and maintenance of ocean component of GOSI releases.

  • GOSI9 paper to be submitted (GMD) and Zenodo release. CG (lead)
  • Summary of ocean “tuning knobs” for coupled model tuning. DS (paper by Williamson, Blaker & Sinha); encourage Perturbed Parameter Ensembles to include ocean parameter perturbations.
  • Finalise GOSI9 equivalent release at NEMO 4.2 IA (lead)
  • NEMOv5 release expected Jun 2024: CPU optimisation + RK3 and increased timestep (DC); Update all GOSI to NEMOv5 (CG, DS)
  • OSMOSIS documentation (AG, MB, BS, GN)
  • Workflow ported to ECMWF-HPC for ease of sharing.
