This release of PLD New Rescue CD/Disk images is based on current PLD Th packages, so the contained software is much up do date than the 'th2012-0.1' release. The code used to build and to boot it as a 'live' system is nearly the same as in 'th2012-0.1'.

These are hybrid ISO images which may be written to a CD (e.g. using cdrecord) or to a USB stick (e.g. using cat or dd).

The files are:

  • pld-new-rescue-th-current-0.2-32bit.iso – 32-bit PLD NR image. Should boot on any BIOS-based PC machine and on x86 hardware with 32-bit EFI firmware (most EFI implementations are 64-bit!).
  • pld-new-rescue-th-current-0.2-64bit.iso – 64-bit PLD NR image. Should boot on any 64-bit capable PC machine. BIOS or EFI.
  • pld-new-rescue-th-current-0.2-32bit-packages.txt – list of packages included in the 32-bit image.
  • pld-new-rescue-th-current-0.2-64bit-packages.txt – list of packages included in the 64-bit image.
