It should aim to be translated so that the essence of the dialogue isn't lost (i.e localization, not just literal translations). For example, the phrase "Holy Mackerel!" used in the sea puzzle is a double layered idiom/pun because it's a character in the ocean referring to a fish. The translations would need to be converted to culturally relevant idioms while still preserving that extra layer of pun as much as possible.
