Trailer not working

What happened?

I was doing my Ron run and I had to bring oil to the bolingbroke prison, so I arrive there and some kid took me hostage , iI told him I would lose my shit if he took me hostage but then he told me to get on his sanchez and he wass aiming a pistol at me so i did wat he told me to do he took me to the Quarry and they started the crate robbery, didn't even take 10min before i got back because eventually they gave up on the crate and did not finish it and drove away, the Deputy brought me back to my truck at the prison i got in my truck and it said I could not continue without my trailer even tho it was still attached , had to bring my truck back to Ron and there I lost 1500$ cus it said I did not have my trailer

Expected result

It should have just worked and my trailer should have still been working

Reproduction steps

1. I removed the trailer from my truck and attached it to my truck again but it still said '' You can not continue without your trailer''
2. so then i went to ron , brought my truck back , lost 1500 $ and got another truck
