Sometimes open jams are being cleared by the server after a few minutes even though keep alive messages are being sent by the master.

Not sure why this was happening. I watched the server for a while and for some time period after creating a jam I saw too few hits to /keepAlive coming from the master phone. I wasn't watching the output on the master phone and didn't have logging enabled for AsyncHttpClient failures so I wasn't able to figure out why the requests were either failing or not getting sent fast enough.

I will continue to inspect this issue, although it seems to be fixed for now...

This doesn't seem to be a significant problem anymore, but I will reopen this issue if it appears again.
