This is slightly similar to #950, that being I too re-read a lot of the stuff in my library, I'm sure I'm not the only one but anyways.
Make an optional feature to enable storing of multiple history for the same manga entry (with a certain limit if required), such that it is possible to view when any chapter was read multiple times or such.
The downsides I see with this would be that more storage has to be used to store multiple reads for the same chapter, and I would assume a little increase in the complexity behind the logic.
This part could be a niche thing but would be appreciated if considered.

I have searched the existing issues and this is a new ticket, NOT a duplicate or related to another open issue.
I have written a short but informative title.
If this is an request for a feature in the original Tachiyomi, I am opening because multiple versions of TachiyomiJ2K have been released without this feature.
If this is an issue with an extension, or a request for an extension, I should be opening an issue in the extensions repository.
I highly second this. Currently what happens is that if you try to read a already read chapter then the history of the read chapter is overwritten. As the previous history is removed and rewritten with a new time the read duration attached with previous history is also removed and rewritten with whatever the new value is. I think the read duration should be merged instead of overwriting. Also introducing this may also cause additional problems with proto gz back up as tachiyomi still does not store re reads.
Describe your suggested feature
