Having an issue downloading chapters that have the same name

Steps to reproduce

1. Search manga
2. Download chapters that just so happen to have the same name

Expected behavior

Chapters with the same name would have a unique file name so they'll both download.

Actual behavior

The 1st chapter (I'm going to call them bm1 and bm2) downloads fine but the other chapter (bm2) shows that it is downloaded but in the folder only bm1 is there and in the app bm2 displays bm1's chapter pages.

Other details

Both of these chapters are just called "bonus manga" and I can't change that in the app once it's in my library. I've tried doing so to their files but the chapter names don't update in the app. I feel like that this is just a tachiyomi/mihon thing but I'm using j2k so I'm asking here.
