If you go to examples/testing.js you will find a raycaster for a 2d plane that I am working on, this is currently not working and I already spent ages just getting it remotely working so I need help on this one.

I think this is just a simple math or logic problem so I am updating it to good first issue.
Also, I have added comments to make the code easier to understand.
