The important change is adding a
-e script [args...]hook tovw-hypersearchso users can plug-in arbitrary model goodness evaluation functions rather than the default average loss fromvw. This already helped me a lot to move much faster forward in a Kaggle competition. e.g. You may wrap KDDperfon independent test sets, use various AUCs etc.The other is miscellaneous enhancements to vw-convergence. Thanks.
