On larger screens, I think it would be nice if after you opened a sensor, the map was still on the top half of the screen and the stats on the bottom half. This would allow the user to easily pan around and compare the stats of different counters.

On the bottom half showing the stats, the user might be able to switch between the different metrics so that the interface isn't too clogged.
