At older devices some emojis are not shown on keyboard. I can type them, thx, but there's no pictograms, so I can't choose some symbols.

Maybe you should implement Twemoji or OpenMoji. Especially — just as optional release for users who needs emojis.

It should also be possible to embed the same emoji font as Android, for example with androidx.emoji2 (not easy as currently no external library is used), which is probably what other apps use.

Still no newer emojis are displayed on keyboard even after update to 1.2.5 (that uses Gradle)...
