1.4.0 - exporting to .perfdata creates zero-byte files? #441

Describe the bug
files are created by "Save as", but empty

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

create a fresh profiling
view the results
Export the data
See a zero byte file with no message and no content in stderr

Expected behavior
exported data

Version Info:

Linux Kernel version: several versions, newest 5.15.74
perf version: 5.15
hotspot version: hotspot-v1.4.0-x86_64.AppImage

Heh, indeed - and it only happens in the AppImage but works fine in the normal build!
