return statement cannot return void.

The syntax as defined for return is this:

return_stmt -> RETURN expr EOI;

No provision was made for an empty return with no argument. That was an oversight. It's supposed to exist. (behind the scenes, kOS always returns something but that was meant to be hidden from the user program).
