working with iframe

I'm trying to read kango.storage values from script loaded inside iframe. The iframe points to internal resource and iframe script is also an internal resource.
Can we do this?

Also, Is there a way to communicate between content script and the script inside an iframe loaded from internal resource?? Cannot use kango API inside the script within iframe.
