Motivation

Reports sometimes want to enable the user to take immediate action to correct a problem or perform an action when possible. Some examples include:

  • Reset Administrator account
  • Disable SMTP servers
  • Update settings key value

Proposed solution

Create a standard way for report results to indicate possible actions, as well as define a standard way for actions and their parameters to be defined/called.
