At present, when typing a search, screenreaders such as NVDA and Windows Narrator do not indicate what result is currently selected. This makes working with the program rather arduous.
This tool lends itself well to screenreader users, but this issue makes using the program rather slow, as one has to manually move the screenreader-specific cursor everytime one thinks the correct result may have been selected. Any perceived productivity gain by the tool is pretty much instantly annulled.
For a workaround in NVDA, the screen reader's object navigation hotkeys can be used to skip one element to the right. Looking at the list's children will reveal the current result list, however, this requires a 3-key hotkey that requires both hands, particularly on laptops.
