MyFavorites

Access your favorite files and folders easily

What's new

  • Build with maven wrapper
  • Create a new favorite manually with CTRL+F

What is this?

Drag & drop your files, folders and web links into MyFavorites. They are then presented in a list from where you can access them easliy. Although MyFavorites is a Java 11 application, it's built and tested mainly for Linux. See Wiki for a brief manual. When started MyFavorites displays a small icon in the system tray from where you can access it. Supported languages are english, german.

How to build

  • Download project into a folder of your choice
  • Open a terminal in this folder and invoke mvnw install or mvnw.cmd install resp.

Issues

  • MyFavorites waits max. 5 seconds until thr system tray is ready.
  • Currently, MyFavorites expects the system tray on top of the screen.
