Marker dots for existing comments don't appear until I add a new comment

In the 'Share and Comment' view, the orange dots marking existing comments do not show up at all until I create a new comment.

I can reproduce this behaviour on 'app.quant-ux.com' using the 'shoes' example: share-and-comment

Repro:

• add a comment (as guest); see the orange dot appears
• refresh the page; see the orange dot disappears
• add another comment in a different place; see both dots now appear
