So I received the device today and here are some observations:
I'm gonna be working on reverse engineering this over the coming week. |

Here's my current external converter:
The CO2 and VOC are still unknown. Furthermore according to the sales page:

@Zagitta VOC values look well: Thank You! |

The units should actually be TVOC and eCO2 since both are measured with one sensor not separately. |

Is there a chance to add a unit to the CH2O measurement? Otherwise HomeAssistant doesn't do nice graphs: |

Okay the CH2O (formaldehyde) is completely bonkers. It's just a calculation that if the TVOC is completely from formaldehyde, it would be this value. This makes no sense and might scare some users, thinking that there's a formaldehyde source in their home - while the sensor is just reacting on any TVOC. We should ignore this "measurement". |

I did some testing - closed the room for a day and start measuring with this sensor. Then I opened the window and pushed clean air from outside through a hepa + charcoal filter into the room. So the sensor works fine. Sure it`s probably far away from accurate, but it gives a good enough indication that something is wrong with the air in a room and you should open a window. :) |

So I disassembled mine. There are two sensors: One for temperature/humidity and one for TVOC. So it can only calculate eCO2 and there's no way it can measure VOC, CO2, or CH2O (formaldehyde). The units need to be changed and CH2O needs to be removed. |

My device never goes below 4 messages/sec and spams up to 10/s. It's pretty crazy. (TZE200_yvx5lh6k / round model) Edit: more complaints about this: #8966 |

I'm pretty sure it's the one I opened above, did you upgrade your z2m? (git blah blah, npm ci etc) Otherwise, turn on 'debug' settings and check the log and make a ticket to support it. It will list the needed datapoints to support in the log. |

Hello!
Have anyone had a look at adding support for this tuya CO2 detector?
It seems very cheap and nice compared to a lot of the other CO2 detectors so I'm very curious about the exact capabilities and performance. I'll probably buy one myself to test out but how hard will it be to add support without the tuya gateway?
