From what I can tell, the only way to change the tooltip background is through custom CSS. As of right now, the bug in adding a custom CSS file is prohibiting me from being able to even add custom CSS.

It would be great if there was an attribute in the Style class for tooltip_background color, which would then be factored into the main stylesheets.

Closing, as I don't use this library anymore, and I'm cleaning up stale open issues of mine.
